CARE CLOSE TO HOME

Your day is
the starting point.

A referral is a useful first step. What comes next should feel clear, too. We help Rahway families understand the path to care, starting with a conversation about your child, your schedule, and what support would make a difference at home. From winding down after school to getting ready for a family outing in Rahway, the goals come from the life your child is already living.

For Rahway families, preparing for time at Rahway River Park may start with a simple routine at home: choosing what to bring, asking for help, and practicing how to leave a preferred activity. Around downtown and Hamilton Stage, waiting and handling a change of plan can matter as much as any skill practiced during a session.

We work with you to set goals that help your child participate in everyday life, with room for your family's priorities and schedule.

IN RAHWAY

From the school day to home life

The hours after school can hold a lot: a snack, a break, play with a sibling, and the shift toward dinner. We can work on asking for help, choosing an activity, and moving between routines in ways your family can use throughout the week.

WORKING TOGETHER

Care with your family

We listen to what is happening at home and share practical ways to support progress between visits.

AFTER THE REFERRAL

A place to begin.
A person to talk to.

If a school, pediatrician, or another provider pointed you toward ABA, you can reach out directly. You do not need to have every answer before contacting us.

Read our guide to the next steps
  1. Start with a conversation

Share that you live in Rahway, how you found us, and what you are hoping will become easier for your child. A short message is enough to start.

  2. Understand the next steps

We’ll discuss current availability, your family's schedule, and which documents or information are needed before an assessment or services can be arranged.

  3. Choose priorities that matter

As we learn about your child, we look at communication, play, independence, and the routines you want support with. Your perspective is part of planning care.

QUESTIONS FROM FAMILIES

Getting started
in Rahway.

We already have a referral. What should we do first?

Use our contact form or call 609-752-5312. Mention the referral and your location. We’ll help you understand what information is needed next and discuss availability for your family.

How can ABA fit around school and family time?

We begin with your child's existing day and your family's availability. Goals can be practiced during familiar activities, such as play, getting ready, or moving into an evening routine. Scheduling is discussed individually and depends on staffing availability.

Can we contact you while we are still exploring services?

Yes. You can ask questions before deciding on next steps. Share what you know so far, and we’ll talk through the process. You can also explore our parent resources to get a better sense of in-home ABA.
